Hello All ! Work is going forward : Now the four shelters are built : Here a first test in position :
Work is going on. I have started the paint job on the platfoms : Masking : Painting concrete, and remove the mask, the joins betwin the visibility bands is drawn to get more it accurate : It is now possible to see the volumes of the station : Here are the parts composing the station, all are fully scratch built in plastic : Here is a video showing the test in place. Lot's of elements lacks : Ligting poles, Benches, Peoples, Catenanry poles, signals, electric boxes, some hand rails, time schedule, Ticket machines ...
Thank's guys !! Here is the weathering of the station : Some details realized with a SILHOUETTE CAMEO digital cutting ploter : the "design" benches I also have started the building of the body of the light rail. I have modified panthographs from Tomix to built correct ones : And here the first Body also realized with a CAMEO ploter : See you soon !
You always surprise with your scratch building skills. Those platforms are excellent. The overall station complex with ramp and walk way is great. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk
I use the Polyscale Concrete ( i have kept some in my strategic reserve ) , and a juice of testor thinner with polyscale grimmy black. I apply the grimmy juice with natural sponge (for random ligth and shadows ) on flat surface and with a small paint brush in the holes or groves.
I have a feeling that RTD unit could be interesting to more than a few people, who'd like to buy one!
Yes you are true !! I think if Kato, or another manufacturer, produce one day the Siemens SD160 ligth rail they will cetainly sell it at the shovel !! There is lots of shemes and road names to do (denver, san diego, salt lake, calgary ... ). By the way here is the first test run of "the beast" :
Nicely done! We are our own worst critics when referring to out modeling efforts. I don't see anything to dislike in that model!
Running a bit behind on reading!! Absolutely fantastic work!! Gonna be a killer scene and more, when done. And it's getting there, fast!! Keep up the fantastic work!!
