    Hi Tom and John,

Its been a busy week for me. I'm starting vacation this coming week and had to get work done before being off. I plan to redo the strips on her and send her to Tom first. It will go out this week. Tom, if you don't mond when you get done, just send to John. John, I would be honored to have one of your tags on her when she returns to Gavilon grain in the future.

Thanks guys, have a great weekend. I'll let you know when she ships.

Understatement of the year "Wow". At least it looks like it's all there. Sending these out reminds me of when the boys were little and we flw model rockets, when one got lost or damaged we talked about how we could just put them on the shelf and look at them, or we could go do what they were designed for. The designed for option always prevailed. If I could not afford to loose it or have it damaged, I could leave it on the shelf. I made them to have fun with. Part of the fun is sharing with you guys. So, I will keep doing it over time.

Have fun with it Tom, if it too bad

It looks like the extra weights came loose. In shipping, basically, they were thrown back and forth inside the car until it separated the shell from the floor. JMS

No Worries it's all good and back in service. Good old Athearn Blue Box stuff was made to be handled and abused to a point. Nothing broke, just came loose. I am glad you didn't glue the bottom to the top (y).
Will get it out and rolling around soon.

Nice set of photos! Really like the bridge. Is that last unit a SD70? If so, looks good in the Frisco paint! JMS

Yes it is John, That spartan cab SD70 is the newest power at the present time, and thanks for the comments, I model the Frisco like it was never merged, so you will see SLSF, or many other roads around this outfit LOL. That bridge was scratch-built by my late friend, I went on a 1400 mile round trip to get it and some other stuff he left me. I ended up doing major surgery and rerouted a main line to fit it in to the MRR. I was honored to do it, he taught me so much.

I have a UBL caboose on the shelf I was given in 1976 by a friend who got me interested in railroading, I also have a
Skiatook Henryetta and Indian Terrirory "the railroad that never abbreviates" boxcar he did. He passed many years ago.

UBL meaning Utah Belt? If so, it should certainly be quite a nice keepsake.

Actually it stood for Utica Belt Line his own private line. I also bought my first Athearn locomotive then a SF SW1500.
It still runs. I keep thinking I will remotor it, add DCC and run it on the POC. This was around 1976/77.
