Trying to find some info on the web, but really, they have done a great job hiding this event..... Is there a website, somewhere??

This thread is where info on layouts and resellers in Altenbeken, at the Z weekend 16, 17 april 2016, is updated:
    http://f.z-freunde-international.de/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=9276

For those you are not registered and do not want to, I include the pdf listing that is to be found in this thread. No affiliation, no liability accepted here, people. But it probably gives a good impression of what to expect. I was there in the years before, look at youtube for Altenbeken spur z weekend etc. There are quite a few films that will give you a good idea of what Altenbeken Z weekend is like. It is all Z, good atmosphere, both good and excellent z scale layouts, typical German food (wurst, beer, and all in sufficient quantaties :) - to bad I travel by car... ). I have met a lot of friendly Germans, a few Americans, Brits, Swedes, Belgians, Dutchmen... Nice if you can make it.

Mickie, Matt and I (Jeff) will be there Saturday (16 April), with the OWL Division from Löhne. Look for the logo (left) on our light grey shirt.
We will be at Dinner after. If you have not pre-paid, you can still order direct meal, from the bar, I believe.

I will be there on saturday as well, it is a 3,5 hour ride by car (one way) from where I live.
I will try and make a badge with my avatar on it. Hope to see you all there.

image.jpg I have started with the second scratchbuilding project (the first one was the bridge) for this layout. It will be a grain elevator.

Not going to Germany. The drive is just too long :-(

In the meantime, I have built a shop. I think it will become Piggly Wiggly.

    Nice work Thieu!

The same for me, although I live only 1 hr driving from the German border.... Long drive and prefer to spend in AZL instead. AZL is releasing too much nice models currently :)

It takes me 3,5 hrs and that is just too much for one day. So, I spend my day with building a depot.
