    Hey all,
Looking to hook my engine up for RC/Battery control using an NCE wireless remote and base ive got. Anybody got any links to a receiver that works off 916.5 mhz for purchase? I was going to use a Dcc decoder for sound and control .

What scale? For large scale, the QSI decoder, and the add-on radio works well, but are you talking the standard NCE wireless, that communicates with a base station, or the NCE GWire?

From what I saw the Gwire is out of stock and production halted due to lack of supplies at the factory. I have the nce base and wireless remote. From what ive read its 916.5 mhz ive found a supplier but you cant just buy one.
So was looking at what I could use sound wise/decoder wise and what rc receiver. Thanks!

So the NCE base station works with the wireless ProCab... the base station has to communicate with a command station. It was never designed to transmit directly to a locomotive.

It is not an R/C system where there is direct communication between the throttle and the loco, but as part of a standard DCC system.

Does it say ProCab on your throttle?
