      Yeah, Rock Island was the only railroad to get the TA. The 1200-HP 16 cylinder prime mover, the generator and electrical gear and the trucks were the same as for the UP M-10000 series but the body was unique to the RI.

      About half of a dozen built. Sure stand out, with the flush headlight. I've always wondered if WWII had not come along, if this carbody style, the nose, might have lasted a little longer.
