TEMCO in Tacoma

There is a HUGE elevator in Tacoma, WA. A few years ago (I'm not sure if this loco is still running there) this old EMD was switching the elevator along the waterfront.

Is this down at Continental Grain?

Is that the one where they load the ships to send it out of the continental US?

(It's down along the waterfront... toward Point Defiance the big big elevator out there. They had 2 of these. I was down there at some fair along the waterfront and got lucky to get this shot. The pair usually were hidden behind strings of BNSF covered hoppers when I was in the area.)

It's west of the old Union Station. I'm sure we're talking about the same place. You're about where Dock Street crosses over the tracks. Behind you, is the City Waterway. Beyond the engine, is the Schuster Parkway. Around the corner, is old McCarver Street, then Ruston Way, and the Nelson Bennett tunnels.

Yup. That's the place. I had never seen a sign (though I was looking at the trains more than the structure) identifying the name of the facility.
