Butt Joint Prep

Cut a gap. I screwed up here. I cut a small gap with my dremel and then tested the track for shorts and kept getting a short indication. I thought I had maybe linked the top and bottom of the ties together with solder. So I used the dremel to just cut all the way through the ties. It turns out though that the short was caused by my track gauge sitting a couple inches away across both rails.
