2008 Intermodal Contest Entry - KitBash

I would like to enter this model of an Australian Hino B Double container truck that I kit bashed from photos of the actual truck, found at the Port of Brisbane. The prime mover was built from a bogey drive rigid truck, painted and decaled and then had the scratch built ‘bull bar’ and full air hoses added. The two container trailers were kit bashed from Deluxe Innovation skeleton trailers, to reflect the correct lengths of the B Doubles found in Australia. They were then painted and decaled and have had air hoses and tool boxes fitted. I wanted to keep this truck looking new, as most of the owner/operators in Australia keep them immaculately clean, so only light weathering was done on the truck. Submitted by: Michael Dempsey.
