Great picture!! I had a chance to ride up in the cab when i was 5 years old. But i was scared cause it was noisy and now i regret doing that.

Yes, five would be early to be in the cab of a steam engine. I remember the first time I rode in a cab was at Cass on a Shay and you have to shout to say anything. The firemen and engineer usually just make hand signals as the noise is way too loud for them to try and talk. My daughter has ridden in the cab of #152 several times and loves it. Try it again as you must be a bit older now than when you first rode..
