NCCR GP20/E420M #2103 HO Scale

This started as a out of the box P2K Conrail GP20. With some modifications, It was brought up into the modern era. The real Conrail GP20s came from New York Central and were built as non dynamic units. The only one built with out dynamics and also NYC was the only eastern carrier to have GP20s. Later, They were deturboed during the rebuilds all of them went through. The units received liberated exust systems and paper air filters. A GP20 within a short while as the horse power races continued, Became the hard and costly way to get 2000hp. All were retired by Conrail and brfore their final retirement they were in and out of storage.
