What are the particulars on the engine, horsepower, when was it built, where is the radiator? Enquiring minds want to know. Yes it has a very Baldwinesque look to it, tell us more.

Designed by Baldwin. Between 1955-1958, a total of 150 units were built: 100 in Holland and 50 in France. Used mainly for freight, but also for passenger trains. In 2003, the last units left active service. Several engines are in the collection of the national railway museum, historical societies and the VSM, a museum that has its own line and runs with steam and diesels.

Topspeed: 70 miles per hour. Power: 662 kW (sorry, Europeans do not use HP.....).

Hood length reminds me of the old Baldwin center cabs. BIG!
