NS 4606 Lifted

This engine for some reason went into dynamic braking while all the others in the consist were pulling. The wheels on three axles almost turned to butter and were badly worn and warped! The 1st and 2nd axle/traction motor were replaced with idler wheels on the spot. The morning after, the third axle was removed on a siding.
