Pilly NTRAK yard
In 1998 the club built a yard to facilitate adding and removing trains during a show. The yard consists of seven 1 foot by 4 foot sections with a passing track for each of the three lines. The yellow and blue lines as well as their passing tracks are interconnected so that trains can pass from one to the others as they enter the yard. When the trackwork was done there was only about an inch of space left between the inner most track and the skyboard, so vertical urban scenery seemed the best way to go. The photos shown here are of the two yard sections that I sceniced using flats made from buildings from a previous layout.
