Thanks! This was a shot from my layout in Oklahoma. That layout is gone 3 years now and my current one (the Ella Taylor sub) is due for demolition around Dec 07 when I move again...

Yikes. Sad to have to move so often! Is any of your layout modular?

Moving isn't really too bad; part of the military lifestyle. It actually gives me an excuse to start with a clean canvas (so to speak) every few years.

I've already started my list of attributes for my next layout: undulating double track stretchs, desert and moutain regions, some sort of [Tehachapi?] loop, and single-track sections with long sidings to complicate operatons a bit...

My current layout (the Ella Taylor Sub) was built with sections similiar to N-Track modules so I'l probably be able to scavenge portions of the layout for future use.

The biggest benefit of the forced fresh-starts are avoiding previous mistakes...like those solder joints in the picture above... :)
