I usually need to travel to get to the shows, luckily the SV guys made the big effort to come to my town for this show. How close are you to Las Vegas or the So Cal FreeMo-N group?
Ryan, John is about a third of the way between Phoenix and Tucson ( about 300 miles east of San Diego). Not close to any of the established groups. John - do you know of others in the Phoenix area that have shown interest in FreeMo-N?
Man, so sad I missed it. My eldest had something both Saturday and Sunday and between the rain, irritating parking and, well, honestly, that show has traditionally not been my favorite in NorCal. I decided to skip. Might make it down to San Jose though.
Not really, the nearest N Scale club is over an hour away and is an NTRAK layout, and there is one 80 miles away in Tucson.....and they meet too early for me
Looks like fun & sorry I missed it. Looks like Devil Mt. was battered by the storm as well: the wooden awning is missing again, as well as the support columns for the depot freight roof. & looks like the dude who was throwing up behind the bar finally went back in for a chaser Hope to see you all in San Jose!
Lets just say that there were quite a few loose parts in the trailer when it got to Sacramento, and leave it at that.
It sure was nice to meet you there Rick! Perhaps I have a surprise or two to find on my NTrak modules. I will only be able to make the San Jose show on Saturday, wife's birthday is that Sunday.
I don't think that it is worth it for my switching layout...I have not built and FreeMoN modules. This is my switching layout with mocked up roads.
