Is there a reason I'm being logged out each time I change to a different Forum? To my knowledge, I haven't changed anything at my end. Initially it was only with Cattle Car a day or two ago, then Weekly & Special tonight replying to Candy's post, and now Support with this post? Not complaining, merely noting an annoying occurrence. Thanks, Hank
Thanks, Rick. I delete cache, history, and other garbage each time I exit Edge. I know this occurred shortly after Edge (Win-10) was released, so I switched to Chrome. But that was a while back, and I've recently returned to Edge, assuming that various software houses had repaired their glitches. So, my next conclusion is that nothing has improved with Edge, or its interaction with TB. ERGO, I'll test some more, then probably return to Chrome...SMERF !
I am having the same issue on ie and on chrome. I will be able to go to 2 or 3 forums and then get logged off. It is not a big thing but is annoying.
Just to chime in- I had the exact same log off problem happen off and on for 2 weeks straight about a month ago (IE-Win10-Chrome) then it mysteriously stopped-I had not changed anything at all. I did notice I would always become disconnected when I selected "anything" in alerts. (quickly knocks on wood), no other features ended up with a disconnect. Running good here since that timeframe...
Something changed? I used be able to stay logged in for days at a time, now it seems after a relatively short period of time, I'm automatically logged out and have to sign back in. Just started a couple of days ago.
Me too. For the past year I'm logged out each time I leave this site. Each time I click the keep login button. If I go to Railimages and then back to New Posts I'm logged out. It is impossible for me to post pictures here or visit without logging in EVERY time. Jim
Be sure to check that you don't have a change in your settings, or a new antivirus or malware setting (even an existing program will often change settings at an update). Think back and see if you added any software recently, or updated your AV software. Greg
Have tried clearing all cookies and cache from Firefox. Will see if that makes a difference. If not, then tedious job of checking McAfee settings and Windows Defender. Thanks for the suggestion, Greg!
Yes, cleaning the cache and cookies will actually have the reverse result if any... you are trying to get your computer to RETAIN the cookie, clearing the cache and erasing the cookies removes them. Your computer is not "remembering" the information the site wants to automatically log you in. Greg
