Sir, which printer did you use to print this?

The first version 2 acid car is ready for trucks and couplers. My masking technique still needs work, I'm not getting as clean a line as I would like between the black and silver. You guys have any tips?

For masking, have tried the following. Masking off the area, then spray another light coat of the bordering color before applying the covering color. This helps seal the mask seam and potential bleeds are the border color and therefore less noticeable.

Testing my paint and decal scheme for the wine car. Since all I have is a black and white photo the colors are guess work, the upper part could have been silver instead of white but since I used silver on my acid cars, I though I'd try white. As for the lettering, since these guys were making wine I thought a nice burgundy color was appropriate.
I don't like the way this Testor's flat white spray paint worked, the finish is lumpy. On the black part I used Testor's flat black with glosscote over it and it works great. So I tried the same with the white, result was not so good. Anyone have a good white spray to recommend?

Here is a nearly finished wine car. I made a mistake in positioning the walkway supports so I had to leave the word "Northern" out on this one, I'll fix that next print.

I have refined my design to make the tank and frame separate parts. This will allow the addition of some metal for weight and make 2 tone paint jobs a lot easier.

I just started airbrushing with Badger acrylics in railroad colors. No thinning required, goes on really smooth and it never ran on me even when I laid it on thick. Also dries really fast on printed FUD parts from shapeways (solvent paints seem to take forever to dry on FUD material). But I have yet to try their gloss coat finish.
