    This is very sad news. :( With his extensive passenger equipment knowledge, we've lost a very valuable member of the railfan community. He will be missed.

    Did Jerry live in North Carolina? There's a Jerry LaBoda on a Carolinas railfan forum and I've long wondered if it were the same fellow. Sad to read of his death.
