Years ago the rail logistics company I worked for moved a steam saddle tank locomotive from Kentucky to California. The load was rather straight forward, and the locomotive in the pictures is close enough. After I add the plywood panels I am thinking of using the Micro Trains Scale sized couplers. Anyone with experience on these that can tell me if I can mount them to this style coupler pocket? Is the look that much better?

    Thank you

I will try to find the prototype photo and post.

Which company made the little Tea kettle? I'm looking at MTL's site right now https://www.micro-trains.com/index.php?_route_=n-scale/magne-matic-couplers they may list the ones you need.

There are non-operational couplers available which look more realistic than any operating coupler could. They're cheaper, too.

Well got the wood on the doors and windows. Couplers will be next when I decide. Project in the real world was done in 2006 so I am not in any real hurry.....:)
