Nothing new again, so another old picture. A picture similar to last weeks at the same location, but this time Alco C-628 and C-630 with an ore drag of G39 ore jimmies instead of the coal drag last week. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski
Great photographs and work!!! Following some work on the layout i hastily placed a reefer and a tree on a spur in order to see how the scenery work progresses. The foreman came by to inspect the work.
I can't take credit for this particular build, but I can take credit for the model. Here's an N Scale kit version of the "Little Joe" I've been designing for the last few years. Finally have a chassis design that makes for a relatively easy build. Milwaukee Road fans, and fans of EF-4s...eNjoy!! Credit for the build (and helping me test the heck out of the chassis design) goes to Jeff over at milwaukeeroadtrainshop. Here it is pulling Kato's Hiawatha set: Cheers -Mike
Just like my obsession with the freight station that started me down the path of modeling the Pacific Electric in N Scale, the Pacific Electric interlocking towers got stuck in my mind. Unfortunately, there isn’t a kit in N Scale that matches the prototype. https://www.pacificelectric.org/pac...n-district/amoco-tower-by-charles-lawrence-2/ Fortunately, there are plans for a basic interlocking tower, just move some windows and doors around.. http://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?threads/interlocking-tower.87092/#post-945884 I built this using Evergreen 0.020″ V Grove siding with 0.040″ spacing, Grandt line windows and doors, Plastastruct stairs and handrails, and finally the roof of a Micro Trains box factory. I will also add in the 90*crossing....
Older photo of my Genesis GP40-2. The Rio Grande wrecked a couple of units in 1982, and requested some replacements. They received 3129 and 3130 in 1983. These were the only GP40-2s built by EMD in 1983.
Neat for populating the pumpkin patch. Wait a minute, where are Linus and Sally? No legitimate patch without them.
And..... wait for it>>>>>> Charlie Brown will be along ....waiting for the Great Pumpkin. It's early, but I might forget.....Happy Halloween!! Jim
Is that the design we were all debating around here a few years ago? If it is, I definitely want to build one, now!
