    ^ That really doesn't get said enough. If there's a particular car or consist you like for your railroad, feel free to totally ignore any and all advice on what's "right" or "wrong" for one thing or another. Your railroad, your rules.

    Besides... if you can imagine it, there's an example of it happening somewhere at some point in somebody's railfan album. There are pictures of bitty little locals comically over-powered with double-headed mainline locomotives, and shiny streamliners being pulled by whichever grimy, beat-up old thing was on hand when the normal power conked out... thanks to UP's shenanigans, we even have video of steam locomotives hauling modern double-stack intermodal traffic. At some point, it's all fair game and you just have to laugh at anyone who tries to tell you something doesn't belong where you've put it. Advice is, in the end, just advice.
