I am keenly aware of the feelings that I have, especially those relating to tracking the progress of a shipment of equipment, tools and parts across the country. I can anticipate the delivery today of one package at the office and one at home. I feel like a kid going into a candy store with a quarter in my pocket (I am certainly dating myself).
Heh. I have all three delivery services bookmarked so I can track all outstanding packages quickly and easily.
Brett, Isn't that taking it a wee bit too far? No, I guess not! I track packages for my work, both outgoing and incoming. I'll admit to sneaking a look at my hobby purchases--especially when it's something juicy. My UPS guy--always the same one--now knows the difference between business and trains deliveries--and has a big smile for the latter!
I'm anticipating a package will be delivered to me tomorrow morning! USPS please don't let me down..... Boxcab E50
I'm waiting on my first IM tunnel motor, which is a big deal for me. We SP modelers are so lucky to have Kato SD45's and IM SD40T-2's. I remember back in the 90s I used wonder how I was ever going to model a modern SP train without them. So yeah, Internet trains had the cotton belt tunnel motors on clearance . .
FD - very cool on the tunnel motor. I really like mine - like you said, how can you model the SP without them? I'm also anticipating an order, from over the pond. Just ordered a couple more spine car sets from our friend and fellow forum-er Alan Curtis. FYI - the 20% off sale is still going on!!! How much are the tunnel motors on clearance?
Well, they let me down. Should I be surprised? First they took four times what it should be to deliver my payment. Now they can't get my items to me in a timely fashion. Boxcab E50
