A lost Siskiyou Southern train somehow made it to Playa Desnuda from the almost great State of Jefferson…who knows how….
IT IS STEAM WEEK ! ! ! Looking forward to decoderizing both of these and then double heading with The Argonaut #5 or #6.
I recently attended the 39th annual Narrow Gauge convention in Sacramento. Was able to go out on some layout tours and visited 9 layouts. Here are a couple of shots from the HO Scale Little Truckee layout which was housed in a 40 foot long trailer. My train shots came out blurry with the trains moving so I am showing some static scenes. I heard the owner of the layout is a retired trucker so that explains how many trucks there were on the layout. The evening rush hour on the Little Truckee. Working through the night to keep the rigs running. And back out on the open road. This shot from my own N Scale layout. Have a great weekend everyone.
How about a video. Took some video last Thursday during the last ops session on Thursday afternoons until next year at the Livingston Model Railroad Cub in Livingston MT. It follows trains along part of the main line. It was hard to shoot with visitors walking through the layout plus the video came out a bit jerky, not as smooth as the original. Could be from the video editing software.
Worked on my n-scale Little Joe kit this week. Added lots of details to push this one another step closer to "finished" - the ladders, grabs, roof details, plow and railing on the porch. Still need to get some glass in the cabs and add my lighting kit. Every detail here is 3D printed except for some brass wire for the holds that are integrated with the ladders. Cheers -Mike
Finally got Photobucket to work today! Got a couple of cars done this week while working on the Plastics Plant. Exactrail Evans 5277 CF EP Boxcar Car Kit, painted with Scalecoat II Silver and White Paints and lettered with Herald King Decals. Always wanted to do this car, as I saw the prototype just after it was delivered on the CP in Field, BC. Car was assigned to the CP in Huntington, BC where I believe it was hauling forest products. Intermountain, ACF 4650 CF Covered Hopper kit, painted with Scalecoat II UP Covered Hopper Gray paint and lettered with Herald King Decals. Car was delivered in 1966 accounting for the paint scheme and was used in grain service assigned to the C&NW in Cheboygan, WI. A Pair of Rapido FL9's with a passenger train on the Strongsville, Oh Club Layout. Thanks for looking!
A cute blonde kneels up on her seat to wave at engineer Steve Creer, as he pulls some empty boxcars from the Newspaper Agency Corp in Salt Lake City.
I am working on two more Truss bridges in order to prolong the module and to have a better connection with the other modules ( see here: https://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?threads/z-scale-in-liechtenstein.125241/ ) Have a nice start into the week! Best, Sven
I have done a couple of others! Exactrail Evans 4780CF Covered Hoppers, although they did not last long before going to other lessors. And if I find another LOAM decal, will probably do another as I have a bunch of Undec 4780's left in the stockpile. Rick Jesionowski
