    Greetings,
    I am new to H.O. & DCC.
I have a small oval with NCE Powercab and JMRI.
I've picked up a used diesel loco which the NCE reads as Mfg. 082 however JMRI is unable to identify it and I am unable to locate a CV list.
I wasn't to change the volume and speed match to my other diesel.
    Any help would be appreciated.

HAG indicates on their FAQ page that they are using ESU decoders. If you can see your decoder's layout, you than can compare it with the various decoders on ESU site. They have a photo of each decoder they sell and also in the various decoder manuals (free download). You can then pick the relevant decoder manually in Decoder pro.

This might also help : http://mrhpub.com/2018-02-feb/download/BONUS-DCC-Shortcuts-Card-v1.2.pdf

Thanks, but if that were true in my case wouldn't the Mfg. Cv return a value of 151 instead of 082?

No, not necessary. ESU is one of the few decoder makers that sell their own products and will also license special runs out to other companies, hence some decoders locked and can't be reprogrammed. HAG probably got the decoders blank from ESU and then program themselves/ or ESU, according to their requirements. Most of the model railway manufactures in Europe collaborate with each other models and decoders. Henning sounds seems to be the latest flavor- Roco. You can also try Rocrail for individual CV programming.
