Merry Christmas everyone and thank you all for your help and advice! Here is the youtube video of it.
Trent- That may be one of the coolest things we've seen here. Completely out of the box idea that came out great!
Definitely...." Most Execellent !" http://www.quickmeme.com/img/6d/6d9cd43e00b6f4b573f635fe19f392ef0ba33ff8ed5bfbaa73f5f77efe7a39e3.jpg
THAT is a work of art! It should win an award of some kind! BTW, nice accompanied music and I see YouTube wasn't a Scrooge about it!
Catfan - that means more than you will ever know, I greatly appreciate it. Mtntrainman - thank you MK - Youtube now has its own music that you can choose from! I picked that song and they are supposed to leave me alone since I got the phone from them.
Badlandnp, I had a few people even say that when they were at my house for Thanksgiving. "I can't quit staring at it." It takes 4 min and 28 seconds for the train to climb the Helix, but no one believes it takes that long. I had to time it myself because it just doesn't seem that long, and I think its because there is so much to look at on the tree. The houses are now living a second life. They used to be on display at my wife's grandmothers, after she passed they were kind of put away. Now many years later, they are back on display and family is really in awe over them." The tree has really been worth the pain it was making it. So should I make a video on making the tree? I did a video while making the Helix and then took pictures along the way. I am thinking let this run for a while then create a "how it was made video." What do you think?
All i can say is wow !!!!! this is spectacular man !! You really did a solid job on this one. The inclines are fun as well ! Hats off to you sir !
so I broke a hitch on one of the cars...can I buy better hitches? I am guessing I will have to get new trucks and everything?
Ok- Re Re Rereading this entire thread you told us you were using all Kato equipment. Would it be insane to suggest we go back to Rapido's here? This is in no way a prototypical situation and no switching is involved.
