    Sure it's possible! ;)

The video is in German, but actually there is no need for a comment. At the beginning I explain the normal operating routine on my model railroad layout.

Love the traverser! I’m most impressed with the guys dexterity and eyesight when lining up the tracks by hand tho that's incredible.

I have never seen a fiddle yard quite like that, they usually just have a bunch of parallel tracks and slide like a Transfer Table. That is awesome!

Hi Larry, amazing work. Hope I will be able to see it in Altenbeken? Could you post a picture of the mechanism, the spindle? I am curious how you made it work so smooth and fitting.

    Thanks,
    Matt

So now I know what a "fiddle yard" is? Obviously this does not exist in real life, no giant hand! As always Larry your imagination and skill is amazing. I'm reminded that it is time to visit your website and see what you are up to lately. This fiddle yard looks like fun.
I have two questions if you don't mind.
What have you used to attach the Rokuhan track to the table? Is it double side sticky foam tape? Some of my Rokuhan track warps a bit vertically, maybe the plastic bed warps? Sticking the track sections down all along their length may be better than letting them float with only a few screws.
Have you chamfered the ends of the track? I think I see that at the end of the video close up of the track meeting point. I find on some of my Rokuhan track that the rail ends are sometimes not level where they meet, I have considered filing or grinding them where they meet.

    Maybe I'm in Altenbeken.
The hinge point is only an 8mm pin. The segment slides on the waxed base plate.
Yes. Its a tape they use to stick mirrors to any surface. "Spiegelklebeband"
btw: it's not Rokuhan, it's MTL. MTL is my favorite track material. It has the narrowest rail head and therefore less dirty.
    Yes, quite al lot.
