Thanks! It's easy to fall into the red brick trap. Variation is nice.

I really like that building the colors and weathering is first rate.

I'll agree with the above posters. Very nice structures and especially like the peeled paint. Did you do that by scraping or other? Superb- especially for such a short time in model railroading. You are very talented, sir.

Hi thanks! After bracing all the wood panels, I gave them a wash of india ink and isopropyl alcohol, mixed 30:1. Then unthinned acrylic craft paints, lightly brushed.

Here is my current Gotham Limited consist. I don’t think I have shown the REA reefer painted, so there it is on the left. It still needs decals though. The B60B is done, the M70 still needs exterior and interior wall paint, although the floor is painted. The newcomer is the PS6L. The Cricut-cut sides have been built into a car shell. It is riding on some “shop trucks.” Finally the 12-1 sleeper. image.jpg

Cool. The first time I rode on the PRR was from Chicago to Philadelphia on the Gotham Limited in the spring of 1956.

I build the 2-6-6-2 some years back ,but just added some steam pipes and brake detail behind the last drivers. Added the details to the 0-4-0 a few years back also , but just finished the 0-6-0 recently .

A couple of things- first, could you tell us a little more about that 2-6-6-2? It's a good looking locomotive. Also like the scrapyard in your next post but I'm curious about the Imex International wrecker that shows in one of the photos. Where did that wrecker body come from? I picked up a lot of those trucks back in the day and am always looking for things to do with them.
