Yes, indeed! I myself have recently seen Union Pacific covered hoppers with CMO (Chicago, St Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha) reporting marks. Allegedly there are also UP open hoppers with MSTL (Minneapolis & St Louis) reporting marks out there. Back in Des Moines, I often saw C&NW MoW equipment with C&NW heralds and CGW or even FDDM reporting marks. Long live those fallen flags!

I was just recalling that when NS and CSX divided up CR's locomotives and rolling stock, they resuscitated PRR (for NS) and NYC (for CSX) reporting marks. It was quite a brilliant solution, allowing the equipment to be dispersed, yet still identified as former CR property. The logos never appeared of course, but seeing those old road references was mighty cool.
