Module or Table Legs - How To?

    Anyone know how they made these medal legs and what the orange items are under the tables to attach the legs? They make them? Where they get this stuff. And also, anyone ever made the wooden ones on the right on the floor. I have searched everywhere and can not find any info on these items. I am guessing they made them? Trying to find some adjustable legs for my 2" x 4" modules, I have 2 modules that size. I slowed the YouTube video down to 1/4 and still can't figure it out! If you need the video link let me know! I want 32" or 34" and adjustable at least a few inches or so.

    The metal legs are 1/2” conduit. They are pretty wobbly. I converted mine to L’s made from 1/2” plywood. I still retain the conduit top (because it makes setup easy. I also switch to a Rockler cabinet adjustment foot, for more height adjustment. Some of the places we set the layouts up have pretty uneven floors.

    I had gotten away from the 4 post leg systems a number of years ago when I was having problems lifting the modules up with the legs attached by myself at home. I have 2 x 4 foot Ntrak modules which are at 40" height and a number of modules for an Asian themed layout I belong to that are set at either 51" or 43-1/3".

    My module legs include a pair of legs at either end with cross members attached between the leg pairs. For the Ntrak modules I leave the front cross section off until I have the module resting on top which allows for better body mechanics as I can walk into the leg structure with the module instead of leaning over it.

    The Asian layout is normally set up at 51" but when we connect it to the Ntrak layout mountain division we set the Asian layout to 43-1/8" so the legs need to be adjustable. My next leg project is to make another set of legs for the Ntrak module that will be adjustable so it can also be in the Asian layout at the full 51" height.

    I use the wood type on my 16 FreemoN sections.
    Just like Karl I use the rockler type adjustable foot, they have a pretty good adjustment range.

    Mine are made out of 1/2” Birch plywood. I also use poplar 2x2’s to fir out the bottom so I can secure the mounting hub for the leg assembly.

    I have close up pictures of the legs. I can post them here, just have to load the pictures on rail images.

    What's the height of yours? Mine will be 33" to 36", and I need my legs at the very end of each table. I that a problem? Where you get the plastic legs, and what kind of wood for leg's and everything? Man this is awesome, and I want to TRY and make the table top with hinges so I can work on wiring and such. Plus one 2' x 4' section will be up all the time, and the L piece I need to be able to attach, and when through put under bed, or against the wall. Any ideas? Gonna try to make a sketch on paper as I don't want to learn the drawing programs I downloaded for such a simple task :)

    Mine has to fit in this area and look like this when I put then together. See how one piece has to go over the dresser?

    I use 1" PVC pipe with a 1" long piece of wood dowel the center of which is drilled out to accept a 3 or4 inch eye bolt mounted in a "T"nut for legs. The PVC slides into a shorter piece of 1 1/4 inch PVC which is framed into the corners of the module and secured with screws. Using a round leg in a round holder allows one to adjust the leg height to level the module without getting on the floor. Just slide a round metal bar or a screw driver through the eye bolt and turn the leg.
