Good morning, good evening, wherever you may be. Welcome back from the weekend. I hope you had a good weekend and got a lot accomplished.

Saturday: My last Friday off was spent just operating the layout, I never got further than planning the cassette project. Saturday, I sold a beautiful 2019 Fusion Hybrid and had a friend a co-worker over for beer and brats after work, so no trains on this day.

Sunday: With a hot cup of Earl Grey in my B&M mug, I operated the layout again. We had storms all day so I was unable to get the painting done. I did largely finish my garage project which will help with the layout in the future.

So how about you? What did you accomplish this past weekend? Let us know with an image or two. We'll assemble again on Friday the 22nd and do it all over again. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and healthy and as always...

    High Greens!

    Good morning all,
Well for some reason I can not download my pictures. The computer is not recognizing the camera. Hmm. You're really not missing much anyway, just a bunch of primed N scale stuff. Gotta go to work soon so I don't have time to look into what's going on.
One of the kits I built was an MT undec SW1500. Getting all of the handrails installed was a practice in patience but I got it done.
Other than that I accomplished my goal of house straightening and cooking.

    See ya next week.
Be kind, be good, be well and be happy.

Saturday: I was able to get the chimneys installed on the squadron building. All that is left is a little weathering. I also finished writing an article on modeling a scrap yard then started another.

Sunday: I painted up a backdrop for my trip dL west module. I needed one for the NMRA AP program. I will also be giving a clinic on painting backdrops next month for our division meeting so I needed a little practice as well. I love how it turned out

Finished the electrical substation as hoped, finished a bulk dry goods trailer, built a load for a gon, and started on a sphere shaped propane storage tank.

Well, I got my deck girder bridge installed. I have to go back and build some fill to hold the ballast at the headwall, but I got it in. Trains run straight and true at each entry. Now I have to get the permanent piers built. I have painted 1x4's propped up for piers in the picture. To me they look like... well, painted 1x4's.

Kitbash, the piers look like they blend pretty good in this pic. Great project. (y)

As of today, I have been doing shakedown tests of the new rebuilt shifter. I had to redo the loco drawbar attachment but now we are rolling. Still, it was a bit of a struggle for awhile and I think it looks a little strange still. However there have been a number of upgrades to both tender and loco with improved appearance (in my opinion). You guys' work is very inspiring. I always enjoy the pics.

Started researching for the next module of my HOn30 (ha ha) empire. Downloading a few archived blueprints of the area in mind, for possible adaptation. We shall see what transpires...

I have the smoke lifters painted and ready to apply, all decals are applied, need to put #boards and class lights on and I will be finished. I am trying to decide on a repair job on the eccentric cranks/eccentric rod on the #1 engine.

    Stay well,
    Carl

I built nothing, wired nothing, but I have something great to share!

I have finally got a brass locomotive! It took me almost 44 years to get one, but finally! The locomotive is an Oriental Limited Southern Pacific C-8 with a modified pilot that has a Micro Trains coupler.

I have also picked up a Micro Trains Southern Pacific tank car runner pack.

Just got a Woodland Scenic Static King, and attempted my first ever grass application. Mini diorama for testing that is not yet completed, but happy with the results. This was as of last night!
