N Scale Bachmann Great Northern GP-9 Diesel Locomotive 187 C14823 | eBay It looks more like a GN ATLAS/ KATO ALCO RS3 to me. Then again it could possibly be from BACHMANN. Tom
Right? I think when I first posted it, the title was GP7 and the description said GP9. Now the title is GP9 and the description says GP7. And it's really an ALCo!
But it is an extremely rare Alco GP7-9 demonstrator only one ever made and the only model of it out there. Come on folks lets line up for a bidding war.
Another listing has a Baldwin Shark in an Alco box, listed as an FA2. I sent an FYI to the seller, but no answer and nothing changed.
I didn't see that one, but he does have an Arnold S2 marked as a V0-1000. At least he got the manufacturer (of the model) correct. https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Ar...264268?hash=item56db3aff8c:g:bhgAAOSwq~9emPdN
...what the heck is that? I guess it's some sort of kid's toy? https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Am...989512?hash=item366358abc8:g:x9EAAOSwVuhexq8i
Hmm from the same seller, this one isn't listed as N though https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Mattel-H...urlington-Northern-Rail-Car-7116/233591072186
The die-hard Hot Wheels collector wouldn't want those locos unless they were still in the original package:
I would almost place this one in the same category as this https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-SP...736182?hash=item3b47446936:g:-qwAAOSwOFFeOtVA Lol. Then again I say KITBASH FODDER! Tom
Some jerk just listed 12 pages of "parts" that cost something like $1 to $6 each, but with $24 shipping on every one of those parts. Yeah, they do combine shipping, but considering how many parts I would need to order to justify $24 of shipping, that guy is never going to get any of my business. It is too bad that the "advanced" search feature on eBay doesn't provide a way to exclude items with shipping charges over an amount you specify. I already use that feature to get rid of "sponsored" listings. Hint: If you want me to buy your item, do not "spomsor" it because I will never see it. "Sponsored" items that have been unsold for months keep popping up in my searches for "recently listed", and I got sick of it. There should be a way to exclude those from regular searches, but eBay is never going to do that.
These toys remind me of something I saw years ago, from a modeler who was known for kitbashing super-deformed 'shorty' trains. One such picture was of a Dash 8 or 9 that had been chopped such that it was little more than the cab + rear end, riding on a single 3-axle truck
All, I am not sure if this would qualify herehttps://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Pa...930661?hash=item23d7e47ba5:g:5IMAAOSwocFeys~q however maybe the $ would . Tom
It even has a bid. We all need to start raiding the junk bins at shows, so we can cash in on this gold mine!
.........................twelve locomotives and a shell for seventy five dollars; five dollars and change a piece, not that bad, I suppose. I might have broken them down into lots of five for twenty or three for thirteen to fifteen. I have been amazed at what I could get for junque.
That is definitely true. Looking at a bunch of junk "flat cars" for $15, I saw a Centerline D40 track cleaning car with Microtrains couplers. Nobody else bid on it.
I think this one is https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-scale-Mo...668258?hash=item48e55c2ba2:g:0tEAAOSwnDZewUSH has a http://www.spookshow.net/loco/euroshark.html on a http://www.spookshow.net/loco/yugofa2.html CHASSIS which doesn't warrant the $ person is asking, if it were this http://www.spookshow.net/loco/euroshark.html I might be interested.
