Have you thought of cutting a piece from a model kit sprue?

I still like it, even if right side up. :D

Believe it, or not, at present I have none at all. Everything I am doing seems to be laser cut flat stock these days. I have played with various sized straws, sliced apart a couple of different sized plastic coat hangers and more. I did finally just find some long beads with tapered ends. Am hoping I can carefully cut the center section out of one, for my next try.

I always save them and toss them into a large cardboard box. At a minimum I cut a stem off and attach it to a Dremel to stir paint jars. They also come in handy to create pipes and downspouts. I'd send you a few but it's probably not worth the cost of shipping.
