    Thank you,
I've been lurking for months, just haven't had anything to add haha. But yes please, I'd love more info on your modules. I think I can manage 2 inch foam.

    Welcome!
I know you will do great.

Just be careful. After all, we're working with two (2) of those inch things here. This IS z-scale, yep.

    Welcome Jake,

My 30 deg modules are end to end compatible with the Wiki standards. If you want a drawing or an end jig, let me know via the trainboard "conversation" mode. I recommend you get an end jig from some place. Of all standard dimensions, the center to center track distance has to be constructed as precise as possible.

Robert gave a nice kind of editorial on standards about 2/3 of the way down on page 5 of this string. I'll send it to you in a conversation so as to not fill up this string up with redundant material.

    Have fun.

Now that we are pretty much settled in after the move back to Panama City, I have room to do an "L-shaped" layout. All of these modules will fit on 2 six foot folding banquet tables. I'm planning on starting the project in a couple of weeks. Here is the plan:

That's a very nice plan you have there, with loths of good operations possible. ')

The first layout I’ve seen that I just want to copy! You should probably patent it ;)

Nice concept and imaginative break from traditional module agglomerations.

I laid out the modules to make sure that they would fit on the two tables.
    Things to do:
    1. Paint the inside corner module
    2. Add the leveling feet to modules
    3. Lay track (industrial quint is already laid)
    4. Wiring
    5. ....and many more too numerous to list
As a refresher here is the track plan.

What software are you using for the track layout drawing? Seems to have several useful capabilities.

I started laying out the track today. I haven't secured it yet as I am waiting on some Atlas 2092 Code 55 Terminal Joiners to arrive so I can install those as my feeders.

I completed laying out all of the track today to ensure that everything would fit. I miscalculated how much more track i needed and was short 4 pieces of the 220mm straights. Fortunately I had a supply of 55mm straights that I used and was able to complete everything.

Now I'm just waiting on the Atlas feeders and then I can tack everything down.
