Hi all, I've been searching for some O scale figures, namely railroad crew/drivers/workers. Early Era preferred but anything that could be made to work with the right paint would be fine.

I haven't yet managed to turn up any unpainted stuff that has a good level of molding or casting detail.

Preiser seems to be fairly good but don't appear to have what I need unpainted.

Any suggestions please? Thank you very much.

Model Tech Studios makes both painted and unpainted O scale figures and details. This is the link to their page:

I have some of their detail items on my layout and I think they are very good. You can browse their site or use the contact us tab.

Arttista also makes great figures, both painted and unpainted. This is their link:

    Thanks Joe!

Ordered a couple of the painted Model Tech drivers, and will definitely grab some unpainted Arttista figures to try my hand at.

Also grabbed a few 1:43 scale figures from Preiser. Quality is good but I had no idea how much bigger than 1:48 they would be!

The good thing about people is that we come in all different sizes from under 5' to over 7' tall though most men are in the 5'6" to 6'6" range. If the Preiser people are bigger they are just taller people.
