I just finished a Mantua 4-8-0 build that has been modernized. Changed out the air pumps, pilot on engine and tender, added coal bunker extension, domes off the Mantua 4-6-0, and some air tanks under the walkway to hide the white worm gear. Also crew. Still stock motor. I need to tweak the shell a little the rods are just touching the firebox and causing some problems

Nice video. Nice vibe. Really cool tourist train.

Where did you get the pilots?

I had them in my scrap box. I cut off the old pilot on the engine frame and sanded it flat and glue on the plastic pilot.
I t was the same on the tender, but much easier.

Sorry, do not know what the pilots are from, just from some cheap model I scraped in the past.

I have many times used the pilots from Bachmann 0-6-0s or TYCO 2-8-0 / 0-8-0s for projects. But not on this engine.
