I'm hooking up watertower to dcc have a ds64 for the push button and i have the ds64 hooked up to track power but don't know how to get the ds64 to work with the powercab.
No offense, did you read the DS674 programming instructions? after programming use the SELECT ACCY and the accessory address on the cab. Greg
Eric, welcome aboard! Most of us are happy to answer questions that can also be found in the instructions, because most of us were once where you are (somewhat overwhelmed), and instructions are not always as clear as we would hope. But, yes, once programmed, the decoder will respond as an accessory on the track bus, at it's programmed address. As Greg stated, you use the Select ACCY button on the Power Cab to control accessory decoders such as the DS64. I'm not familiar with the DS64 itself, so I can't help you with programming the address and other features into the DS64.
