Hello everyone, here's the photos for the week BoxcabE50 at Miles City, MT HemiAdda2d at Gassman Coulee bridge badlandnp with CN 2425 BuddyBurton with a KCS/CN set r_i_straw with some UP Hardcoaler with a tower scene BNSF FAN with Columbus & Greenville 601 Akirasho with a teal centerbeam Sepp K with a Pan Am boxcar and RailMix with some Grand Trunk
I agree with that completely. Also really liked Buddy Burton's colorful KCS/CN lashup, Hardcoaler's old scool tower shot and BNSF fan's C&G shot. The shot of CN 2425 brought back some memories. I caught one of the 2400's (they were new then) in the siding at Emmett almost 25 years ago. Turned out the engineer was a guy I'd gone to high school with, so I got a quick cab tour before the other train showed up. All this week's selections were unusual and interesting.
Charlie, That was at Keegan Road, about a mile west of Emmett, Michigan. A look at Google satellite views will show that a long passing siding extends from just west of Keegan Road to east of Stapleton road on the east side of town, a distance of a little over two miles. Both ends of the siding with their conveniently located grade crossings have yielded good photo ops at various times.
