Can't find it on their website. I am primarily interested in TCS since most of my fleet is set up with them. Although I purchased my first Lok Sound decoders the other day. Thanks!
I think the only drop-in is the NCE NH15/16-44 It has torque compensation, but no BEMF, even though at least one vendor says it has BEMF. Torque Compensation (aka Dither) improves low speed performance like BEMF, but cuts out pretty quick with more throttle. It is not "cruise control" like BEMF.
Thanks Big Jake. I guess that's why I couldn't find it on the tcs website . Thanks for bemf info as well. I'll check out NCE decoder.
DRGWSPUP, I found additional decoders that fit the Atlas H15/16-44: According to Fifer Hobby Supply's decoder fitment guide, the following decoders also fit the Atlas H15/16-44: Digitrax DN163A0 & SDN144A0 (S prefix is a sound decoder, both support BEMF) TCS AMD4 (TCS does not mention this compatibility, supports Torque Compensation or BEMF, and braking via function button) NCE N12A0 (there are differences between the description for this and for the NH15/16-44) Note that Fifer's fitment guide is an image of a table, and is not searchable, nor does it contain links to the decoders referenced. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you with this additional info...
Thanks Jake! I really appreciate you tracking that down for me. No worries about the delay. I wasn't expecting any additional research. Was happy with the information you had. I think I have an AMD4 available. I got sidetracked into doing my first sound decoder installs on some Kato F3's using the WVD adapter board. Gosh does that makes the sound process simple with a Next 18 connector.
