I always thought a "train set" was something that came in a box with snap track, a locomotive, a number of cars and a transformer. A layout was a more permanent layout that remained deployed and could not be put away.

We are talking about a so-called institution of journalism founded by a purveyor of buggy software that tried to corner the market, run by a guy who couldn't make a virus-free product but is currently... What is he doing again?

    Never mind.

If you're looking for someone who is surprised msn took a story interesting enough to produce an hour of cable television and turned it into a twenty second read that makes people want that twenty seconds of their life back, look elsewhere.

Not splitting hairs here, nor defending Bill Gates, but Microsoft didn't market software with bugs in it. They sold software that wasn't thoroughly bug proof. It was hackers, spammers, and pirates that planted the bugs. There is a difference. And as we've learned since, nothing seems to be impervious to determined hacker attacks.

    There is, indeed.

And yet, though justly corrected, I stand by my character assassination.

Microsoft products have always been buggy from first release.

    Best was DOS.:D

And in that article, not a single photo of his "train set"o_O. It would be interesting for the readers to see what's being moved, and how much work Rod put into that little piece of heaven.

I like the "He treats them like the crown jewels." comment. I think we can all relate to that!

Wish he would get someone to film the entire process of the dismantle, the big move and putting it back together again. Not something you see everyday.
