Friday Apr. 2nd I rode Amtrak to Portland OR, and return. I was impressed. Staff was clearly in front of it. Can't say enough about how well each person I interacted with was right on top of things. Great trip, only thing I would add would be a way to get some coffee "on the fly". The trip was a little long for one cup of coffee at that hour. (6:41am departure) Next time, (and there will be a next time), I'll have a second one with me. No issues to report, good job everybody.
Hi Boxcab, Salem to Portland was just over an hour, one stop in Oregon City, we might have been there 5 minutes. Coming back seemed quicker but I can't say for certain.
