Great modules and great video. Do you have any information about the signals on some of the modules?

Hello Svein-Martin, thanks for the praise. You can find information about the technology behind the signals on my homepage. Sadly only in German. https://www.z220bahner.de/Spur-Z-Basteleien

So here is another video with the Big Boy and Challenger. Unfortunately, the cell phone that was used to film is a bit older, you can see it too. Hence the quality is not that good.

Lazing on a sunday afternoon…. came across these two nice YT clips of a shorty layout. I don’t care too much for shorties to be honest but on this little layout they seem quite nice.

Here is a video of layout.
However, bevor you listen the it you should be familiar with the track plan:

The video is divided into two parts. It provides typical train operations.

    Part 1:
There are 6 trains on the layout, located at begin of the video at following places:
    • V200 with freigth train at Wintersdorf freight track
    • Express train carriages at Wintersdorf platform track, the engine BR18 is still in the depot
    • BR03 with local train at Wintersdorf platform track
    • BR50 with freight train parked in the lower reversing loop
    • V100 with push-pull train in the dead end track of the reversing loop
    • BR38 with a slow train in the right loop of the main line
The slow train is the main actor of the video. You will follow its journey through the entire layout. In part 1 it switches from the main line to the branch line, reaches Rodach and disappears in the tunnel to the hidden reverse loop. The other trains start one after the other to the main line, until four of them are turning their loops automatically. This is end of part 1.

    Part 2:
While the four trains continue running on the main line, the push-pull train arrives at Rodach. Also the slow train arrives Rodach and continues to travel to Wintersdorf. After arrival the engine BR38 is disconnects. The BR24 leaves the depot through the turntable, couples to the train and takes over service.

    Cheers
    Georg
