    Hey Everybody-

We are getting close to the close out the pre-orders on the Santa BiCentennial SD 45-2, and I wanted to point out the letter that we received from Frank Angstead at Intermountain talking about how IM is doing, and what they expect for the near future. While one might disagree with his statement that "N Scale rolling stock Production has been good", it sounds like they are recovering finally from the factory shut down of a couple years ago.

I know the plague has caused havoc throughout the industry, especially after KK closed shop, but recovery seems to be coming.

Read for yourself and make up your own opinion. It is available at https://www.nscaleenthusiast.com/NSE_Pages/NSE_Frank.htm

They released the N scale Superdome cars????
I had these pre-ordered from one of the N scale etailers for over a year and have never been notified of their availability... hmmm.
Locomotive production for "F" units in N scale has been non-existant for several years now.
Hope they get everything back up to 'normal' soon.

I think the superdomes came out a few years ago, and we're still waiting on the second run.
In fact, we're still waiting for a lot of stuff from IM. The 5161 hoppers have shown as in production for what seems like 6 months. I reserved them maybe 4 years ago.

I didn't find out that they ran the milk cars (and I had some of those reserved as well, something that I almost never do) until about six months ago. Of course, now long out of stock. Emails inquiring about them to IM went unanswered. I can only hope that they run them again someday...

Just took a look at the Intermountain Railway website to check on the Super Domes. They are listed as Centralia Car Shop brand with stock numbers CCS-7101 thei CCS-7114.

Apparently there was a release at some point, but they are taking reservations for a few of the original releases... and perhaps some numbers are being re-run.
There may be some sitting on hobby shop shelves at full retail price... haven't looked into that.
