    Hello,
My name is Tom. I am a 73 year old disabled Veteran. I served in Viet Nam in 1970. I have taken up model trains to fill my time and have an N scale layout about 35% complete. I am searching all areas for scenery ideals. So far I have an areas for a logging camp, Coal Mine, 4 cities A lake, A river out of the lake, and 3 streams feeding the lake. I am modelling in the 1850 to 1900 era. Any suggestions, comments and links to good scenery ideals are more than welcome.

Welcome aboard. You model my favorite era but locos and rolling stock can be hard to find.

Yes sir! Thank you for your service. Welcome to TrainBoard. As mentioned above, lots of help and ideas here. Your plan sounds fantastic. I agree that the era may be a bit challenging but also rewarding.
