Anybody else remember these glow in the dark hoppers from Deluxe Innovations? Just updated this pair to M/T trucks and couplers.

Those have been on my wish list a loooong time. Deluxe had announced another run and I very happily ordered a set. Unfortunately, DI went under before they were made. I'd still like to find a pair at some point.

A friend of mine modeled a nuclear reactor on an NTRAK module and had a few of them parked on a siding there.
I do have a glow in the dark rerailer from Delux. However it looks as if it went into partial melt down.

I just googled them and despite my assumption that they would be uranium, it looks more like unobtainium. Scott's website shows a copyright of 1999 with a 2 pack MSRP of $19.90.

I've got a pair, I may have to have a nuclear plant, or at least a cooling tower with the rest of the plant "out of site" on my layout for them.

There's a pair on ebay right now, but you've got to reeeaaally want them bad ($165 + shipping).

I do wish I had gotten more when they were available at a decent price, I'm sure not going to pay that much for them.

On a very unrelated note and because I've had one them stuck in my head after reading the title of this thread, which is your favorite "Radioactive" song? The one from The Firm or from Imagine Dragons? I love both, but may have to choose I.D. Really dig their sound.(y)

I have a pair I think, buried somewhere in a box. On an unrelated note, a classic radioactive song is "Christmas at Ground Zero" by Weird Al.

Lionel popularized radioactivity beginning in 1958, featuring lit containers aboard their 6805 Atomic Energy Disposal Car. (y)

I really like the Imagine Dragons "Radioactive" song and video, but this is my favorite version of the song.

Should I still feel proud of having been authorized by the Nucellar Regulatory Commission. When Three Mile Island unit #1 went off I was about to start making components for unit #3. Eight years later my new employer was very happy that I was authorized to make the boring tools to clean out the area of meltdown in unit #1.

I had ordered one of these cars as well...only to have DI go away before I could get it. Great cars to run at train shows.

My favorite is Radioactive by Kiss...

Nice!!! I always enjoy classic Lionel. I haven't owned any in decades, but I did just complete my collection of original catalogs from 1948 - 1960. They're still fun to look at and reminisce about simpler times.

Imagine Dragons version… has anyone seen the video? It looks like Angel put Mr. Escalante’s calculus lessons to good use.

I also like the version of this song covered by Penatonix and Lindsey Stirling.

as for the cars, I love it!
