    Trade show giveaways

Often at a industry trade show, the companies displaying their products will offer customers a little token gift as a thank you or a reminder of what they have to offer. Attached is a picture of some of those giveaways I've collected. The mirror (round with safety valve in middle) is about 3" in diameter. Everything else but the dry shaver is quarter size or smaller.

I recently obtained copies of some old Ashton Valve advertising circulars relating to their gages. Take a look. Circular # 109

I have seen several of the Ashton gauges in factories in Milwaukee. They really stand out. As well as a testing/setting kit.
I don't know what the steam tractor had.

After seeing the many testing devices, I wonder how they calibrate those? Is there a tester for the testers? :)

Good question. See the attached below. My assumption has always been that the test gauges would be checked constantly to insure accuracy. An assumption!
This page is from an 1896 catalog. It may help to answer the question.
