@Shortround 'Indiana Jones'? I've been breaking people's handles down since my first days in a chat room. It gives me an small insight into who they are. Beyond that my actual last name is: Goodenough. Yes, really. So, I have a personal interest in names.
Track Planning I used MS Paint with the scale:12 pixels to the foot. Unless you have an advanced proficiency in it it is probably best skipped.
NO! Not that one. While learning to be a Sergeant I was taught 'Fire Direction Control' of field artillery's. In Vietnam my assignment was a field mortor platoon. We had two 81mm mortors. If not properly cared for the propulsion (bags of black powder) would misfire and cause the round to come up short of range. For safety I had to call out on the radio "SHORT ROUND". I was minimum height for the military - 5'2". So the nickname stuck and stayed. Sgt Shortround. As a youth I was 'Buster'. (I don't like to be called 'Dick') I didn't like MS Paint. Rich
I wondered if I should respond, and figured what the heck. You told us your real name. It's a Good Enough name for me Hope you don't take offense You've heard them all, right?
It is done!! All the table-top plywood has been removed, cut into smaller pieces and deposited into dumpsters. All of the underlying benchwork has been disassembled and stacked to one side. So all that's left to do is to clean-up the aftermath which is taking longer that I expected. It seems as if the more I clean-up, the more there is to clean up. I have now reached the point where if I ever have to do this again, I'll just phone the nearest Air Force base and call up a . . . and be done with it.
