Worse, looks like they have been taken out of service. Have not seen one past my window in ages.
I loved those things, They had a special 'noise' in them.

While waiting for the school bus on Blakemore Bridge. Its a bit over exposed. I will have lots of time to get a better one. What type of locomotive is it?

That's an ACS-64, nicknamed Sprinter and built by Siemens.

@digimar52 Thanks! They fly past my window at about 80mph on the center track, (concrete ties).

Lovely bridge. I went under it two years earlier on a NOL/MSP cruise. I like your view better.

With Amtrak's Empire Builder experiencing a service disruption recently due to a major derailment in MT, the westbound #7 'Builder was terminated in Minot, ND, wyed and unceremoniously stuffed into the CP interchange track at Soo Tower. I grabbed a photo to document the unusual arrangement from the city library lawn, but the photo is definitely not all that great!

May not be "Great", but it does record a rare (hopefully) event. Thanks, (y)
