That's perfect. I won't actually need them for some time but I always purchase things ahead when I can.

    Hi Rasputen,
Can you tell us if the roof for the M38 Jeep is a separately applied part?

    Thanks,

The M38 Jeep body and top are all one piece. The windshield frame would be too fragile by itself, as it is only about .010 inches thick. It may be possible to remove the soft top, but you would want to either reinforce the windshield frame or make a new one out of a tougher material like brass.

Thanks for the more detailed information. I can see where that thin frame would be a problem.

    I had a couple questions:
Can you make the Dodge A-100 in Pickup form?
There was a FaceBook N-scale vehicle post of a modeller who used the 1968 Ford F850 cab to make an awesome MoW truck. He said he knew you and was possibly talking about collaborating on making a chassis/frame for it. The post is now gone, or at least I cannot find it. I would be interested in purchasing such a set up for the 1968 Ford F850.
Your new offerings have caused a rethink of what I desire to order.

Best regards. Looking forward to your continued offerings.

I will look into the Dodge A-100 pickup, but that would be difficult to do. Regarding a chassis for the F850, someone was working on a printed one but I'm not sure what the status is.

    Hello Rasputen
I’m new to the group, your models were recommended to me on Facebook from someone who lives close to you.
They look very nice and realistic
I am curious about shipping do you combine costs or is the shipping cost per vehicle?

The postage cost is for the total order, not per vehicle. Welcome to TrainBoard!

As I count these kits up I count 14 cars that are no newer than 1951. Is this correct? My modeling ends in 1951. I believe I have bought some of your kits it the parts and if so they were great. What is my cost with delivery of these 14 kits? I reside in Lawton, OK 73505 for postage info. Respond to emacgis@aol.com THANKS, Mack

Any recommendations on prepping the cars for painting?

Most of the castings do not have any mold release so they can be painted as is. One exception would be the 1957 Ford Fairlane, which will most likely have mold release on it. If you wish to clean them, I recommend a citrus based cleaner like Orange Plus, or Citru-Solv.

Safety note: Do not tap the rear of the Pinto. It will explode.

Oh, sure. You couldn't leave the puffy fake ash strips off and make a Country Sedan or Ranch Wagon. You had to make people go blind trying to paint N scale fake wood grain.
