I am building a HO scale layout very loosely based on an English village / town somewhere in GWR territory (Gods Wonderful Railway). It is currently DC with two separately controlled loops.

I am putting together a DCC++Ex system - parts still trickling in due to lockdown and postal worker shortages. Lots of fun converting locos still to be had!

For those unfamiliar with strine (Australian), a pommie (normally referred to as a whinging pommie b**ard) is an English person, g'day is the way to say good day.

I have only lived in Canberra for 38 years so still consider myself as a pommie even though I was born in Zambia and have only lived in England for 5 years:)

Hi Mick, welcome. Surprised you haven't been awarded naturalization citizenship after 38 years. This Yankee by birth was awarded Southern naturalization after only 25 years. Then again Australia is a continent, while America is merely a colony in the minds of most "Pommies". LOL
