I have never used this tape and I'm looking for recommendations. In particular what width? I'm going to start converting my N scale locos to DCC and understand that the tape is used in the process. Am I better off with a wide size, say one inch, then cut it down to the width needed or would half an inch be better to start with? Any other suggestions are welcome.
I find 1" to be a bit too wide. The two sizes I often end up using is 3/8" and 1/2" with the 3/8" being more useful for me. 1/4" is too narrow. Note, I'm N scale so if you are HO, the 1" might be better.
